Quilts for Hospice

The Quilter's Group is open to anyone with an interest in making quilts, from those who have yet to complete their first quilt to those who have had years of practice! (Beginners of any age can be taught by the group.) Each member works on her or his own quilt top, with the entire group helping with assembly during the final stages. Finished quilts are donated to Hospice, a service that provides palliative care for the dying. Recipients of the quilts frequently note that they have been deeply touched by the gifts.

Materials are provided, but participants should bring a sewing machine. (If you are interested in joining the group, but are unable to get a sewing machine, please contact Lois Yale through the church office.)

The group meets on the first and third Thursdays of each non-summer month from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (bring lunch). We hope to see you soon!
